Week 4. Whether you're a complete beginner or have experience screen printing, this hands-on workshop is a great opportunity to develop your creativity with the brilliant and endless possibilities of screen printing. With a playful and relaxed approach you'll get to grips with the principle techniques of screen printing. Through experimenting with colour, layers, scale and surface you will develop your own designs, learn about mixing your own inks, registering multiple layers, coating and exposing screens and experiment with different stencil techniques. You should complete the course feeling confident in the studio and with prints to take home!
Run by Sam and Angharad and small class sizes of 4 means plenty of help will always be on hand. Sam is a printmaker and Royal College of Art graduate who has over 10 years experience screen printing.
Textile classes run 7-9pm on consecutive Mondays. Paper classes run 7pm-9pm on consecutive Wednesdays.
